In search of happiness would-be hedonist Andy Wright arrives in Thailand for another season of excess. Immersed again in the everyday chaos of Bangkok hes back where he belongs where he feels most alive: a city of old friends long nights and strong drinks. But soon there are complications: he cant get his best friends girl out of his head; theres a search for a missing person; something- some malevolent presence- is following him.Hed thought of himself as a sophisticated enlightened traveller a cut above the bar-girls and beer-bellies crowd but he finds himself sinking further into a life of intoxication and indulgence and is increasingly uneasy agitated and unable to cope. Harassed wherever he goes by the mysterious stalker and exhausted by the excess he craves is Andy just another foreigner out of his depth in Bangkok?
