The book contain my photos from Szopienice. This is a Katowice district, the city on the upper Silesia, in Poland. To 1960 were independent. Formed as a village in 1360. Developed in the second half of the nineteenth century around the steel industry. Civic rights given to them in 1951.I photographed Szopienice in the spring of 2003.
